The T1Pal Loop beige app is being discontinued because the regular T1Pal Loop app has been updated to Loop 3.4. The T1Pal Loop beige app will expire on Saturday, April 19 2025. Please write to support@T1Pal.COM for assistance or with any questions or concerns.


Please follow these instructions to switch to T1Pal Loop before expiration. 

  • Install T1Pal Loop from TestFlight
    •  Do not select "open"
  • Locate and Start T1Pal Loop from the home screen
    • Agree to all questions, giving all requested permissions.
  • Select "Use Nightscout with Loop"
    • Use the phone's camera app to scan the QR code on your T1Pal Uploader page to open the Mobile Upload Helper page in your phone's browser.
    • Use this to copy the Uploader URL and API Secret into the Loop app and log in.
  • Select "Import Settings from Nightscout"
    • Review and accept all settings.
  • Select "Add CGM"
    • Enter Transmitter ID if G6
    • Select "Upload Readings"
  • Select "Add Pump"
    • Set Reminder defaults and select insulin type. 
    • Do not start a new Pod
  • From T1Pal Loop beige:
    • Select "Replace Pod"
    • Select "Disable Pod"
    • Cancel pairing of new pod
    • Remove pod from body
  • From T1Pal Loop:
    • If necessary, select the pump control panel from the upper right of the Loop app main display
    • Pair pod and proceed as usual.
    • Select Closed Loop operation
    • Select Dosing Strategy
    • Select Algorithm Experiments
  • After 2-4 CGM readings, the Loop status will become green.
  • Verify the correct operation of T1Pal Loop
    • Check if saved meals were imported
  • When you are confident that T1Pal Loop is operating correctly
    • Remove T1Pal Loop beige from your phone
    • Select T1Pal Loop beige in TestFlight
      • Select "Stop Testing"
