**********************************************************************************************

Apple is releasing iOS 26 on Monday, Sept 15.

There is an issue with the Loop app and iOS 26, which causes the "deliver bolus" button to be unavailable. This means you cannot bolus with Loop if you are running iOS 26.

Please disable automatic updates and refrain from manually updating to iOS 26 until T1Pal announces the testing results.

To turn off automatic updates for an iOS device, go to the iPhone settings app -> General -> Software Update -> Automatic Updates and turn off the "Automatically Install" option for "iOS Updates."

This video shows how to disable automatic iOS updates:

There are no specific reports related to the Caregiver app. However, to be prudent, It would be best to not update until we give the all clear.

We will update this T1Pal Knowledge Base article as the situation develops.
